Private Ghosts of the French Quarter Walking Tour

About this experience

Step into the shadows of New Orleans with a private ghost tour rooted in lived history, not legend for legend’s sake.

This private tour is built on stories passed down through generations of documented accounts. With over 300 years of history, New Orleans holds a deep and complex relationship with death, memory, and what lingers beyond.

These are not recycled tales or debunked myths. This is a collection of firsthand accounts, family stories, and carefully preserved history shared by those connected to it.

Without the burden of a large public group, you have the space to walk, listen, ask questions, and to follow the stories that stay with you.

Choose your preferred start time for a seamlessly private experience. Optional enhancements and extended storytelling elements can be added to deepen your tour.

After your experience, we will send you some extra stories and pics so the night does not end when the tour does.

Bring your camera. Some guests leave with more than just memories.

Itinerary and highlights

Behind the music and candlelight, the streets hold centuries of lives that never fully moved on. Fires, fever, violence, and whispered secrets settled into the walls, and some of them still stir after dark.

Once the site of public executions and restless gatherings, the square has witnessed moments that never quite settled. As night falls, footsteps echo where no one walks, and figures have been seen lingering along the edges of the Cabildo and the cathedral, watching as if they never truly left.

Built in the early 1700s, its walls have watched over generations of young women, devotion, and whispered stories. There are long-held tales of sealed doors, unexplained presences, and something that arrived in New Orleans and was never meant to be released.

This mansion does not need embellishment. Its history is enough.
Behind those elegant walls, cruelty unfolded in ways that shocked even a city accustomed to darkness. When the truth came to light, it left a stain that has never fully faded. Neighbors once swore they heard screams long after the house fell silent.
Some say that something restless still lingers inside, unable or unwilling to be forgotten.

You do not enter these houses but you do stand before them as we tell you stories of those who haunt there. We are the only tour company that able to tell the stories from the actual journals and diaries of those who live them.
